Jour 22 : Près de Souris à Cap-aux-Meules

Today we’re finally returning to Quebec well the Province at least… We’ve had a great breakfast well that is as long as the term great defines: a mosquito infested area where even having a glimpse of the exterior of our tent will reveal 30 mosquitoes all waiting anxiously with a huge bloodlust. I tried ignoring their presence by going back to sleep while others would arrange for our departure, but I had to acknowledge the sad truth that it was only a question of time until I had to leave this peaceful area(!), to go and eat breakfast, which consisted of bread and sausages. When everyone had finished eating our last food resources we departed and left for Souris where we ventured near the beaches and fought against hordes of monsters with Marc-Antoine, and we’re Jean-Cristoph and Raphael engaged me into a fierce duel which I gladly accepted and won with honour and bravery… but this epic fight is another tale. SourisExhausted and with no more food resources we left to the conquest of the supermarket, which was quite smaller than what we had come to expect, oh and also quite expensive in comparison to the prices from our homeland. Having stocked up on food and having traveled a mere 10km, which was all that was needed for the boat. We went to survey the area for information and access to the vast wonders of internet; where I had a 20 minute date with a computer. Plenty of time to get updated on the tech world and check my emails, but leaving the room left me with a lust for more, soul broken I left in quest for adventure. I was bored out of my mind for quite a while since we had to wait until the departure of our ship which I’m right now inside writing this journal for all those brave souls, who will live our quest side by side with us by the intermediate of these words. But I must now tell you that Jean-Cristoph just brought me some grave news, we might not have access to this area of our vessel, he described it as “high-class”, it isn’t so chic in my opinion… But never less we have access to energy to power our electronic devices, which brought us all great happiness. JC brought me great news this area called television area is not so chic after all so we’ll be allowed to stay. The duration of the trip was done without much harm; a few of us were taken by sea sickness, those poor mates… We found a place to stay at some biking folks; we are now sleeping in this small shed, with a mind free from the meteorological hazards that nature could bestow upon us. But from here on I must leave your side to allow my comrades in arms to take their turn in the writing of this mighty tale. Till then I salute you all!
